1.1. How do I protest the value of my property?

Once we mail notices for the current tax year, protests may be filed using one of the following options:

Online using our E-File system. You can find the E-File website here: https://appeals.dentoncad.com. For step-by-step instructions visit https://harrisgovern.help/product-guides/pacs-8-0-help-documentation/tx-appraisal/tx-online-appeals-e-file/
You may also submit your completed protest form through the Submit A Request button on the left sidebar. Please note that protests filed through the helpdesk will be treated as a mailed in protest. Mailed in protests will be scheduled for a hearing with the Appraisal Review Board.
